Acoustic Lagging

Pipe & Duct Lagging

Acoustic Lagging is a composite wrap applied around pipes, ducts and mechanical services to contain the noise they radiate into occupied spaces.

The system pairs a limp-mass barrier layer with a decoupling absorptive layer, so the barrier blocks airborne noise while the soft layer isolates it from the pipe wall.

Features

Reduces noise radiated from pipes, ducts and services

Limp-mass barrier with decoupling absorptive layer

Flexible — wraps around bends, valves and fittings

Applied on site over existing services

Suitable for retrofit without replacing pipework

Optional foil or reinforced facing

Applications

Soil and waste stacks in apartments and hotels, HVAC ductwork above occupied ceilings, pump and chiller pipework, plant rooms, and any service run passing through noise-sensitive areas.
