Floating Floor
Structural Isolation System
Floating Floor systems use elastic polyurethane bearings installed between the structural slab and a floating screed to break the structure-borne path and deliver high impact-noise insulation.
The system suits demanding environments where low-frequency impact isolation is critical, and allows services to be routed within the void.
Features
High impact noise improvement, including low frequencies
Installation heights from 50 mm to 500 mm
Excellent shock and impact resistance
Low creep behaviour over the life of the building
Allows building services to run within the floor void
Suitable for heavy loading
Applications
Recording and broadcast studios, cinemas, clubs, theatres, gymnasiums and sports floors, bowling alleys, plant rooms, and residential or office floors requiring high impact isolation.
