Floating Wall

Isolated Wall System

Floating Wall systems build an independent or resiliently mounted wall leaf separated from the structural wall by an air cavity and absorptive infill.

Breaking the rigid connection between the two leaves removes the structure-borne path and delivers substantially higher airborne sound insulation than a directly fixed lining.

Features

Independent or resiliently mounted inner leaf

Air cavity with absorptive infill

High airborne sound insulation

Removes structure-borne flanking through the wall

Suits multi-layer board build-ups

Detailed and engineered per project requirement

Applications

Recording and broadcast studios, cinemas, clubs and live venues, plant room enclosures, hotel party walls, and any separation between noise-generating and noise-sensitive spaces.
